Job Description :

The Spring English Language Program, Langara College, requires a full-time English as a Second Language instructor for a two-week program running from March 10th – 21st , 2025.

The instructor will be responsible for delivering the course as described in the SELP curriculum. This will include planning lessons and assignments that fulfill course objectives, preparing additional materials as required, and accompanying the students on off-campus site visits. The instructor will also be required to attend a preparation meeting in advance of the program start date.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a BC TEAL / TESL-Canada recognized TESL certificate equivalent to a specialization in TESL from a degree program.
  • Minimum five years teaching experience in ESL / EFL at the adult level.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Compensation for this position : $38 / hour ($36.54 salary plus 4% vacation pay).
