Key Responsibilities:
Calibration Program
The resource will participate in the following tasks:
● Initiate a Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) project for the development of a sustainment solution for asset management, integrated logistics and maintenance support for the Calibration Program.
● Analyze the current operational requirements, identify any gaps, generate and analyze alternative options to the current maintenance strategy to recommend a solution.
● Develop a Performance Management Framework (PMF) to monitor the sustainment solution and measure its execution.
● Oversee the timely implementation of the sustainment solution, as identified by the SBCA project.
● Validate data requirements and equipment lists for the amendment of the Master Item List (MIL), Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
● Monitor calibration contract data using DRMIS.
● Communicate with stakeholders for the registration of new equipment.
● Validate materiel and equipment cataloguing and associated linkage to a Storage Location (SLOC) in DRMIS.
● Monitor and report on the calibration data to ensure that repair activities meet the guidelines established within the calibration contract.
● Monitor and report on calibration data within the DRMIS application called Calibration Program Management Solution (CPMS).
● Provide project management activities for the development of National level policies.
● Review documents on current and emerging technologies for calibration, including briefing materials, position papers, speaking points, policy research, corporate reporting, protocols, media information and presentations in order to assess the consistency of DND policies versus those of other government departments.
● Provide project management activities in support of QETE 5-4 for calibration and repair as well as the introduction of new test equipment as follows:
● Validate invoices by comparing submitted data against live data in DRMIS CPMS and submitting a report for Technical Authority (TA) approval; and
● Liaise with various DND stakeholders on current and new requirements including, but not limited to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and the Canadian Army (CA).
