CEDA is currently seeking a Class 1, 45 Ton Picker Truck Operator for our Bonnyville, AB location.
Candidates must be local to the area, or willing to relocate.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain picker trucks and / or boom trucks
- Haul, load, and off-load equipment
- Understand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations
- Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
- Take part in all safety meetings
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner
- Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents
- Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Qualifications :
- Valid class 1 licence Current 3 year abstract required (with no more than 5 demerits in last 2 years)
- Journeyman Picker Truck Certification would be an asset
- Driving a manual transmission is in your nature, you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience operating a picker truck
- Willing to get your CSO certification
- Must have a valid H2S Alive certificate
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Able to travel throughout Alberta (flexibility in schedule is required)
Skills :
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to plan and organize tasks meeting deadlines with high performance
