Job description
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Senior Human Resources Classifier for a full-time, 48-week contract based on-site in Ottawa (Nepean). This role is ideal for an experienced federal classification professional with strong expertise in human resources, organizational design, Treasury Board-compliant classification, and executive-level advisory work. Must hold or be eligible for a Reliability clearance
In this role, you will support organizational restructuring initiatives by analyzing classification frameworks, identifying gaps and overlaps, and developing compliant reorganization options. Success requires advanced bilingualism, extensive federal classification experience, and the ability to confidently present recommendations to senior executives.   • Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (48 weeks)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Provide classification expertise to support organizational restructuring initiatives
  • Review the current classification framework and analyze gaps, overlaps, and optimization opportunities
  • Review organizational charts, job descriptions, and classification rationales
  • Conduct comprehensive classification and organizational design analyses
  • Develop a minimum of two viable reorganization options, including classification impacts and Treasury Board compliance
  • Prepare detailed briefing materials with clear recommendations and supporting rationale
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and respond to inquiries
  • Advise senior leadership on classification implications and organizational design strategies
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, Social Sciences, or a related field from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (advanced level required)
  • Minimum of 48 months of relevant experience performing duties such as:
    • Reviewing benchmark decisions and advising senior staff on classification impacts
    • Advising and debriefing employees on sensitive classification actions
    • Coordinating departmental classification strategies and committees
    • Advising senior officials on classification activities
    • Coordinating training on classification policies and priorities
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the past 7 years providing federal classification services, including organizational design and presenting recommendations to senior executives
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within the past 5 years working on classification or organizational design projects related to real property or infrastructure positions within a large federal department, including executive-level presentations

Adecco recrute actuellement un(e) Classificateur(trice) principal(e) bilingue en ressources humaines pour un contrat à temps plein de 48 semaines, basé sur site à Ottawa (Nepean). Ce poste s'adresse à un(e) professionnel(le) chevronné(e) de la classification fédérale possédant une solide expertise en ressources humaines, en conception organisationnelle, en classification conforme aux exigences du Conseil du Trésor ainsi qu'en services-conseils auprès de la haute direction. Le ou la candidat(e) doit détenir ou être admissible à une cote de fiabilité (Reliability).
Dans ce rôle, vous appuierez des initiatives de restructuration organisationnelle en analysant les cadres de classification, en identifiant les lacunes et les chevauchements, et en élaborant des options de réorganisation conformes. La réussite dans ce poste requiert un bilinguisme avancé, une vaste expérience en classification fédérale et la capacité de présenter avec assurance des recommandations à des cadres supérieurs. Responsabilités :
  • Fournir une expertise en classification afin de soutenir des initiatives de restructuration organisationnelle
  • Examiner le cadre de classification actuel et analyser les lacunes, les chevauchements et les possibilités d'optimisation
  • Analyser les organigrammes, les descriptions de poste et les justifications de classification
  • Réaliser des analyses complètes en classification et en conception organisationnelle
  • Élaborer au minimum deux options viables de réorganisation, incluant les impacts sur la classification et la conformité au Conseil du Trésor
  • Préparer des documents d'information détaillés comprenant des recommandations claires et une justification à l'appui
  • Présenter les conclusions et recommandations à la haute direction et répondre aux questions
  • Conseiller la haute direction sur les impacts en matière de classification et les stratégies de conception organisationnelle
Qualifications et expérience :
  • Être autorisé(e) à travailler et à résider au Canada
  • Certificat, diplôme ou baccalauréat en ressources humaines, comportement organisationnel, sciences sociales ou dans un domaine connexe, obtenu auprès d'un établissement postsecondaire canadien reconnu
  • Parfaitement bilingue en français et en anglais (niveau avancé requis)
  • Minimum de 48 mois d'expérience pertinente à exercer des fonctions telles que :
    • Examiner des décisions de postes repères et conseiller la haute direction sur les impacts en classification
    • Conseiller et informer les employés lors d'actions de classification sensibles
    • Coordonner les stratégies et les comités ministériels en matière de classification
    • Conseiller les cadres supérieurs sur les activités de classification
    • Coordonner des formations sur les politiques et priorités en classification
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience au cours des 7 dernières années à fournir des services de classification fédérale, incluant la conception organisationnelle et la présentation de recommandations à la haute direction
  • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience au cours des 5 dernières années à travailler sur des projets de classification ou de conception organisationnelle liés à des postes en immobilier ou en infrastructure au sein d'un grand ministère fédéral, incluant des présentations de niveau exécutif
