QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, Training And Experience
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a college diploma or university degree in Child and Youth Care, Health Sciences, Education, Social Sciences or related field. A minimum of three years related experience. Experience as a volunteer.
Valid BC Driver's License.
Skills And Abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
Demonstrated experience working with youth ages 15-18.
Experience supporting volunteers or volunteer teams is an asset.
Demonstrated experience as a volunteer is an asset.
Demonstrated strengths in MS Office Suite, experience working within a database, and other administrative skills; understanding of volunteer databases an asset.
Solid understanding of the Volunteer Management Cycle.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize events, in person and virtual.
Proactive mind-set, willing to create new connections and develop partnerships.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and produce results with minimal supervision.
