Position Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to manage administrative and clerical responsibilities for a large construction / development company in the city of Toronto.
You will handle a variety of administrative tasks and oversee essential accounting functions. and managing data entry and document management tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, specifically Quickbooks .
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and document management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records.
- Support the team with construction administration tasks as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and document filing.
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Handle and manage incoming and outgoing phone calls efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications :
- Must have administrative assistant experience with Quickbooks.
- Prior experience in construction administration is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
