• Install, configure, and upgrade Tableau Server software and related tools.
• Manage server hardware, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Monitor server activity, usage statistics, and identify potential performance issues.
• Implement and maintain Tableau Server best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Create and manage Tableau Server sites, users, and groups.
• Assign permissions and roles to users and groups to control access to content and data sources.
• Manage user authentication and directory services.
• Manage projects, workbooks, and data sources within Tableau Server.
• Support the migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards) between environments.
• Monitor and optimize content performance and size.
• Monitor overall server health, including server usage patterns, process status, job status, and disk space.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau Server.
