Job description

Are you an an independent, self-motivated contractor with an accounting background who has experience implementing projects, user testing, and data mining, as well as excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills? If so, this opportunity is for you!

One of our clients is looking for a Financial analyst who will be responsible for coordinating and preparing financial reports and analysis.

Work in a full time one year contract

Responsibilities

Responsible for the coordination, preparing and delivery of financial reporting and analysis. Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and maintenance of accounting records. Assist with the co-ordination of month end close activity. Responsible for the timely completion of complex account analysis and reconciliations. Prepare operating expense variance analysis. Maintain appropriate controls for financial reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications include : Accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA) with 5 years experience in an accounting environment; Strong computer skills (Excel and Word); Expert in Financial Systems; and Strong attention to detail.
