Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team in assembling high-efficiency transformer units and power distribution solutions. Your role is crucial in helping us deliver 40 distribution power units over the next three months for a major project. You will be assembling units from scratch using both hand and power tools, including screwdrivers and air-compressed power tools. The position involves reading electrical schematics to perform wiring on panels and installing them into the outer shell of the distribution unit. You will also test completed units and engage in general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble power distribution units using hand and power tools.
• Perform electrical wiring by interpreting electrical schematics.
• Install panels into the outer shells of distribution units.
• Test completed power distribution units for functionality.
• Conduct general cleaning duties and assist in building skids.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely project completion.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
• 2+ years experience reading and working from electrical schematics.
• 1+ years experience in mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Work in a small, well-lit warehouse specifically rented for this project. While the environment is a bit dusty, all materials are organized for efficiency. The role requires working in close quarters and in teams. Training occurs during the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a transition to the afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday. A $1 premium is provided for afternoon shifts.

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
