Job Title: Sanitation Worker

As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facility. Your duties will include cleaning stainless-steel drums and all plastic containers used for packaging operations, cleaning portable equipment and parts for packaging according to SOPs, and ensuring purified water and product transfer hoses are sanitized as per guidelines. You will also be responsible for washing laundry items, cleaning pallets used in GMP areas, retrieving cleaning agents from storage, and managing their inventory.

Responsibilities

• Clean stainless-steel drums and plastic containers used for packaging.
• Clean portable equipment and parts for packaging following SOPs.
• Sanitize purified water and product transfer hoses according to SOPs.
• Wash laundry items as required.
• Clean pallets used in GMP areas.
• Retrieve cleaning agents from storage and manage inventory.

Essential Skills

• General labor and cleaning experience.
• Sanitation and industrial cleaning knowledge.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience working with machine cleaning for at least 6 months.
• GMP experience or similar work environment.

Shift: Night shift

This is a Contract position based out of Whitby, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
