About the Role
Our client is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time role ensures efficient coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Verify and store incoming shipments
- Prepare bills of lading for customer orders
- Ensure products are packed, labeled, and recorded correctly
- Maintain accurate shipping records
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate courier rates
- Direct drivers on truck parking and loading / unloading
- Track shipments and communicate delays
- Lead and support shipping team members
- Work with scheduling, inventory, and operations teams
- Manage warehouse storage and returns
- Contribute to production meetings and process improvements
- Enforce safety regulations and PPE use
- Manage a team of 4 – 5 direct reports.
