Position Overview Reporting to the Director, People, Culture and Diversity, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective training programs that support organizational goals, enhance employee skills, and foster career development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders to create impactful, user-friendly learning experiences. This role is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Some expectation to travel between offices depending on training needs. What you will be working on Assess, design, develop and implement a variety of training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led courses, virtual training sessions, job aids, and multimedia content. Ensure all content is aligned with Mevotech’ s objectives and tailored to the needs of employees. Collaborate with department leaders to assess learning and development needs, identify performance gaps, and design training programs that meet those needs effectively. Write clear, concise, and engaging content for training programs, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with instructional design principles. Leverage SharePoint learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools to develop and deliver training content. Ensure the accessibility of materials across various platforms. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, learner feedback, and performance metrics. Use this data to refine and improve future training programs. Organize and facilitate interactive training programs online and in-person where learning is reinforced, and effectiveness is evaluated.  Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), HR, and department leaders to ensure that training content reflects current industry standards and Mevotech’s objectives. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and learner-centered experiences. Stay up to date with the latest trends in instructional design, corporate training, and learning technologies. Continuously improve content and processes based on feedback and best practices. Provide guidance to Human Resources team regarding training and curriculum design as needed. Partner with Marketing as needed to develop training content designs or videos. What we are looking for : Minimum of 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning & development, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and developing corporate training programs and materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design models, and eLearning development best practices. Analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and learner performance. Experience with virtual and blended learning environments. Certification in instructional design or eLearning development is a plus (e.g., ATD, ISPI). PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Primarily office-based with standard working hours; may require additional hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent financial matters. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. Minimal physical demands, primarily involving sitting, using a computer, and other office-related activities.
