Salary : CA$55K - CA$80K (Depending on Experience)

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Structural Assembler to join our team and contribute to the assembly and installation of aircraft systems, parts, and components. In this role, you will work on high-profile projects, ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of every component you handle. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform structural installations, assemblies, and subassemblies for aircraft systems.
  • Interpret technical data, plans, and manufacturing files provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
  • Utilize templates, PVA, engineering service drawings, or other materials from the Methods Department.
  • Adapt to various assembly types, ranging from large to small components.
  • Operate manual or automated machines and tools as required.
  • Assemble metal and / or composite parts, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
  • Install fasteners, drill holes, and use appropriate products such as bolts, rivets, and screws.
  • Apply sealants, bonding agents, corrosion inhibitors, and paint.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for fit, performance, and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout operations.
  • Report any discrepancies or irregularities in the assembly process.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the aeronautics sector.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Quick-thinking problem solver with excellent technical skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) communication skills are a significant asset.
