Summary

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing, communication, and public relations strategies that support Aspires mission, programs, and community initiatives. This role combines creativity, strategy, and technical skills to produce effective, meaningful communications that strengthen Aspires brand and community presence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing and communication materials for Aspire events and fundraisers.
• Manage Aspires social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Coordinate marketing and communications for all program areas, including training, resources and group programs.
• Track analytics and adjust strategies to improve performance and audience engagement.
• Write and edit newsletters, brochures, press releases, and other key materials.
• Plan and schedule advertisements (print, digital, and social media) to align with Aspires event and program calendar.
• Manage and update Aspires website regularly, ensuring content is accurate and engaging (WordPress).

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Visual Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in WordPress, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools (Meta, LinkedIn).
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Knowledge of non-profit operations and fundraising practices (asset).

Salary Range

$24.39-$26.65 per hour
