What to expect :

As a Certification Services Representative you are responsible for providing and maintaining certification services for new and existing clients and to promote other CWB related service lines. This includes :

• Auditing of companies validating welding activities i.e. verification of personnel and their welding credentials; ensure compliance to applicable codes and standards (e.g. CSA W47.1 CSA W186 CSA 47.2 and etc.); verification of procedure type documents; provide relevant opportunities for improvement (OFI).
• Procedure testing Conduct testing for non prequalified joint assembly as per the requirements of CSA W59.
• Welder testing Conduct individual performance testing as per the requirements of CSA W47.1 and CSA W47.2.
• Public Safety activities- visiting job sites liaising with building inspectors engineers and current and prospective clients.

In this position you will report to the Regional Manager Eastern Certification. You will work PRIMARILY in person onsite at client locations in Montreal Quebec or as required and occasionally work from your home office providing remote services .This position will require approximately 90% local travel and 10% out of town / overnight travel.
