Bilingual Library Assistant

Purpose :

This position provides a wide range of circulation and reserves services in Leslie Frost Library from a public service desk in person, by telephone and via library's on-line system.

Education : High School Diploma

Experience :

No experience required.

Skills :

• Ability to deal calmly and courteously with the public and with difficult patrons in both English and French- Excellent customer service skills- Basic keyboard skills- Basic cash handling- Accuracy and attention to detail- Ability to move and lift heavy objects bending, reaching when re-shelving books, pushing and pulling loaded book trucks
