Elder Care Provider Wanted - Looking For Help 10 Minutes South Of Calgary For My Elderly Parents.
Hello. I am writing this on behalf of my parents. They live 10 minutes south of the Calgary city limits on a small acreage.
Last year my father had a stroke. He is 76 years old. He has lost some cognitive abilities but is very healthy. He still cooks a little, plays games, exercises and leads an almost normal life.
He lost his license after his stroke which has impacted his freedom a lot. My mother is now makes sure she is around for him everyday / all day.
She is also in her 70's and this has been a lot for her. She is on supplementary oxygen but still drives and manages the house as well as my dad.
I am looking for some help for my parents to lessen the load for them. My dad could use some companionship and someone who can take him places.
My mom has appointments and other things to do so we need someone at home with my dad. Also having some help around the house with cleaning, laundry and meals would make a big difference in their life.
This person would need a police check and drivers license. There are no medical needs to help out with.The ideal candidate will be able to assist with personal care needs and provide companionship and support for our family member.
