We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Installation Technicians to join our Gteck team in Ontario . In this role, you will be responsible for leading and upholding our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Installation of :

CCTV system

  • Card access systems
  • Intrusion systems
  • ULC Intrusion and ULC Fire Monitoring systems
  • Intercom systems
  • Structured cabling
  • Software installation and upgrades
  • Attend and participate in site meetings
  • Coordinate with other trades on job sites
  • Install server / client software and setup switches
  • Project test / commissioning reports
  • Follow strict health and safety protocols

    • What you bring :

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

  • March Networks
  • Boom / Scissor Lift
  • WHMIS
  • Working at Heights
  • Full understanding of electrical drawings and the ability to install cable and devices based on them
  • Strong knowledge of electronics Devices and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Excel to import / export data
  • Ability to use test equipment including but not limited to Multi Meters, Network testers, network scanners
  • Ability to use power tools such as Jig Saws, Grinders, Dremel’s, Large Concrete hammer drills
  • Ability to complete jobs in timely manner to meet targeted deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass Government Security Clearances and Criminal Background Checks
