Job Title : Extrusion Team Lead

Location : Mississauga, Ontario

Employment Type : Full-Time, Afternoon Shift 230-1130 (Paid 8.5 hours / day)

Position Overview :

As the Extrusion Team Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the operation of our vinyl extrusion machine and team on shift. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for setup, changeovers, and operation of the extrusion machine, as well as leading and motivating a team of operators to achieve production targets and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate vinyl extrusion machine according to production schedules and quality standards.
Perform changeovers and adjustments to ensure smooth operation and optimal product quality.
Lead and supervise a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Complete production reports and documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications :

Previous experience operating and setting up a vinyl extrusion machine is required.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
