A leading Montreal-based children’s apparel company is seeking a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong sketching abilities, technical knowledge of garment construction, and experience creating tech packs and specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Create and update detailed tech packs, including construction details, fabric information, and technical sketches
- Develop accurate flat sketches by hand or using industry-standard software
- Assist lead designers throughout the product development process
- Participate in fit sessions, take notes, and work with the team to revise specs and patterns accordingly
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and overseas vendors to ensure product accuracy and timelines
- Support daily administrative and creative tasks as needed
