POSITION OBJECTIVE(S) : The General Manager plans, organizes, directs, controls, and coordinates the operation, and its major departments and directs the facilities, and management team. JOB DUTIES : Supervise, monitor and coordinate the work activities of the management team.Responsible for the overall performance of customer service, equipment reliability, business development, purchasing, finance and property management.Maintain current knowledge of interpreting and applying pertinent rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth by Bombardier Inc., the customer or outside agencies.Maintain proper records of operational and special budget.Design and implement new policies and procedures.Confirm the preparation of financial and administrative reports.Control expenditures in accordance with budgeted amounts. RELATED ACTIVITIES : Participates in the performance evaluation and succession planning of personnel.Supervises personnel so as to obtain maximum efficiency while applying, within the facility the company's policies and procedures.Act as liaison between site and corporation.You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
