Job descriptionOperate a Pulp Moulding manufacturing line. Assist in making batches for both lines- this task is the shared responsibility of all 3 Operators on each shift. Batches must be made in accordance with PMP batching recipes. Notify shift Supervisor of any issues with production or machinery in line with PMP problem escalation procedure (within 2hrs if issue cannot be resolved individually). Ensures machine is being run at target as specified by Management- refer to OFS express Monitoring system for Target. Complete daily quality production report QC- product must be manufactured in accordance with PMP Product specifications and all pertinent data recorded (see daily operator production report) Keep work areas clean and organized Tool Changes Complete any miscellaneous tasks as directed by your shift Supervisor Work in compliance with OH&S act rules and regulations. Work in a safe manner and use PPE as directed by the employer. Tell Shift Supervisor about any missing or defective equipment or protective device that may be dangerous. Report any injury / illness to your Shift supervisor. Competent and safe operation of all machines and equipment at all times. Complete and adhere to all training, policies and procedures provided by PMP. No cell phones allowed on plant floor.
This Machine Operator Position Features :
- Great Pay from $40K to $41K
Responsibilities / Tasks :
o Assist shift Supervisor with tool changes
o Ability to complete a tool change on own if necessary
o Post tool change the tools which have come off the machine must be cleaned and placed in soak tank for that line, spacer plates must be cleaned and put away, tools put away
