Overview

We are seeking a two Patient Service Associateto support the Medical walk in Clinic for Two different Locations in GTA

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have following skill and educations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation)
• Collect patient history and update medical records as directed
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and comfort during visits
• Provide post-visit instructions as directed by the physician or nurse
• Prepare examination and procedure rooms using aseptic technique
• Set up and sterilize instruments for minor procedures such as a Wound cleaning and dressing, Suturing and suture removal, Incision and drainage, Cryotherapy (e.g., wart or lesion treatment), Biopsies and minor skin procedures
• Assist the physician during procedures by, Passing instruments, Maintaining sterile fields, Providing patient support and reassurance, Apply dressings and bandages following procedures
• Monitor patients post-procedure for comfort and adverse reactions

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma as a Nursing Aide / Health Care Assistant (or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Minimum three to five Year Experience in Doctor'soffice setting require for this position

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite with computer background will be prefered
• Required:

  • Reliability and punctuality
