The IT Security Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems and data from cyber threats through continuous monitoring, analysis, and incident response. This role involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. The analyst leverages strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to detect and mitigate threats, investigate incidents, and develop effective remediation strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential for working with cross-functional teams and promoting security awareness. Proficiency with security tools and frameworks supports maintaining a robust security posture that safeguards digital assets and aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities will Include :

• Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Develop, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of security.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to security incidents, compliance audits, and risk assessments.
