JOB DESCRIPTION : Skills Needed

Minimum of years of SBLC Commercial Letter of Credit andor Guarantees in Trade Finance Mandatory

Knowledge of UCP ISP URDG Mandatory

Knowledge of all regulatory guidelines ie sanctions OFAC compliance antiboycott and othersMandatory

Knowledge of SWIFTMandatory

Minimal education level required High school Secondary school A levels AS levels IB

Effective written and verbal communication skills Mandatory

Knowledge of standby letters of credit would be an asset Nice to Have

Knowledge of Syndicated Letter of Credits would be an asset Nice to Have

CDCS Certification Nice to Have

ACBS system knowledge Nice to Have

TI Trade innovations system knowledge Nice to Have

Experience in Letter of Credit billing process commission calculation reconciliation of records etc

Responsibilities

Ensure that letter of credit transactions are in conformity with client instructions UCP Publication ISP and the Banks credit compliance procedures

Ensure timely processing of sensitive transactions and report to management any unusual or intricate transactions requiring review discussion and or approval

Provide assistancesupport to internal clients on technical aspects and practices of letters of credit

Prepare and execute required letter of credit documents using TI Microsoft Word or ACBS as needed

Respond to pending inquiries discrepancies and resolution of documents filed ensure that all items are actively traced via correspondence with respective parties tickler schedule and actively followup until payment is secured and transaction is finalized

Ensure that Letters of Credit file contains relevant supporting documentation ie copy of executed letter of credit amendments and completed compliance checklist when required

Ensure timely disbursement of funds as required for LC drawings and record transaction through the Banks accounting system ACBS for accurate accounting and reporting

Ensure SWIFT messages for LC transactions are processed properly

Other Information

Language Fluent in English French is a plus

Working from home voluntary basis for up to days per week after months of joining subject to managers discretion

CalendarHoliday to follow USA

Flexibility to work during nonstandard working hoursdays as requested

Should be willing to support after hours during busy periods
