Project Description :
The project team is expected to work with the NTT Device Engineering in all aspects of technicalities required to complete this project. For example, packaging effort and creation of group policies by NTT will be required as our end-user environment involves multiple stakeholders, hundreds of applications, and thousands of users and devices.
Immediate design and implementation of a migration effort is required including a) application compatibility testing for all end-user applications installed in the FHA environment (including the development and resourcing of test lab capability, technology, and expertise) and b) supplementary application packaging capabilities. The project is estimated to end by March 31, 2025.

Services Required :
- Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Business Analyst will perform the following services : Participate in all aspects of the planning, development, testing and deployment activities with NTT and business areas.
- Act as liaison between Digital Patient and Provider Experience (DPPE) portfolios and NTT support teams.
- Create and maintain a list of all applications that are currently running on Windows 10 and for which testing is required on the new OS using a defined process and system defined by the project.
- Working with DPPE portfolios, contact vendors to obtain application details to determine supportability and compatibility with Windows 11.
- Work with NTT and FH Device Engineering teams on any changes required for group policies, registry settings, Fraser Health image, task sequence, Tier 2 and Tier 3 application list, dynamic app script updates, driver and firmware task sequence updates.
- Work with NTT and FH Device Engineering teams on any new requirements for software packaging and changes to any existing packages for clinical applications.
- Schedule meetings with stakeholders to analyze and validate the package repository
- Create requests in ServiceNow to engage proper teams within PHSA and NTT.
- Create migration groups based on the schedule provided by business operation teams
- Monitor potential impacts as part of the migration plan
- Provide technical assistance to the Project Manager to complete project tasks.
- Co-ordinate and assist in creating test cases for application migration and sign-off with business operations teams
This is a full-time role, and the duration of the project is approximately 12 months.
Key Deliverables :
Upon completion of the Project work, the project team will deliver : Report list of devices successfully migrated to Windows 11.Report list of devices left behind due to application dependencies and for which Microsoft ESU will be required.List of devices / applications that cannot be upgraded with reason / justification and sign-off from application owners as applicableSpecific Qualifications or Experience Required :
Business engagement and analysis experience required.Experience working with Operating System upgrades for desktops.Technical experience with Windows 11.Experience working with group policies and software packages.Good understanding of image creation and changes, Tiered application list, dynamic app script updates, driver, and firmware task sequence.Experience with Clinical Information Systems is an asset, as is work experience within British Columbia’s health care system, particularly FHA and PHSA.Experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.Experienced in thoroughly integrating change management and process improvement principles into the project management style.Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).Knowledge of PM tools, such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.Great analytical skills, excellent people skills, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and a demonstrated capability for handling sensitive situations.Job 70429
