Job Responsibilities :
Systems Testing / QA Specialist collaborates with product managers, product owners, and technical team to develop test strategies and test plansStrong understanding of manual testing practices to support developing manual test scripts, test cases, and / or test scenariosAssist with planning and creating test data as it relates to each test phaseExecutes quality assurance and testing activities for various types of testing such as integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, unit testing, load testing, performance testing, and accessibility testingPlans and organizes testing efforts in both front-end and back-end application components / environmentsCommunicate test results regularly through reports that summarize test completion and defects foundHelp with the implementation of the project's technical testing strategy and methodology. This includes testing of integration points and interfaces and non-functional requirements ( fail-over, component response times, data integrity, security)Evaluate test results against acceptance criteria to determine the successful completion of the sprint incrementDefines and measures acceptance criteria for test casesRecord all defects / issues in the Cluster’s defect reporting tool (Jira), including detailed descriptions, screenshots, and steps to reproduceParticipate in elicitation and business requirement workshop sessions, sprint reviews, and / or walkthrough meetingsWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile / iterative solution development lifecycleConducts post-release / post-implementation testingSupports clients with user acceptance testing (UAT) activitiesCreates traceability matrix to ensure testing outcomes align with business requirementsCoordinate and facilitate regular defect review meetings with Business Analysts and Business stakeholdersSystems Testing / QA Specialist provides testing and defect status updates in daily scrum stand-ups, and team meetings as requiredProvide weekly report confirming the status of assigned tasksKnowledge Transfer Requirements
Knowledge transfer is expected to occur throughout the duration of the assignment through regular meetings, touchpoints, and working sessions with LRC staffAll design, development, artefacts, and source code, including all relevant and complete documents, must be transferred to the ministry in the designated repositories providedDedicated knowledge transfer sessions will be scheduled to ensure completeness of knowledge transfer and all documentation is shared, and allow LRC staff to ask clarification and / or follow-up questionsExperience and Skill Set Requirements :
Experience in quality assurance at the specified experience levelExperience in testing Commercial off Shelf Software (COTS / SaaS solutions), preferably Oracle Siebel Public SectorWorking knowledge of SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Perl, and related scripting technologies for automationKnowledge and experience in the use of test tools and methodologies (Waterfall / Agile / Iterative)Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life CycleExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity, and perseverance skills, verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.Product cycle (functional & non-functional) testing experienceTest case & Test Scenario design and review experience (from business requirements)Test case development experienceExperience in defect trackingTest scenarios (use-cases) design and reviewExperience in writing manual / automated test scriptsEvaluation Criteria :

Until further directions, the work arrangement for this role is currently hybrid and requires working at least days in the office.
