Accounting Analyst

Weare seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst for our clientwithin their investment division focusing on financial planning andanalysis (FP&A). The successful candidate will play acritical role in delivering detailed management reporting andsupporting financial planning processes. This position willcontribute to maintaining financial integrity and providing keyinsights for decisionmaking across public and private marketinvestments.

Hourly salary of $31.06.

12monthcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Weekdayschedule from 9am to 5pm.

Hybridwork : 3 office days from Tuesday toThursday.

Responsibilities :

TheFinancial Analyst will be responsible for developing andmaintaining financial models compiling business results andpreparing highquality reports for CFOs finance teams andstakeholders. Primary dutiesinclude :

Producing comprehensive global management reporting materials forbusiness unit CFOs Group Finance Investor Relations the Board ofDirectors and externalstakeholders.

Supporting thefinancial planning process for the investment management divisionensuring accurate maintenance of annual planning and monthlyforecasting models.

Providingtimely analysis to finance counterparts to assist withdecisionmaking in public and privatemarkets.

Ensuring strongattention to detail and consistency in financial reports andmaintaining alignment across businessunits.

Developing strongrelationships with internal business partners and externalstakeholders.

Identifying andimplementing process improvements related to reporting analysis andfinancial systems.

Collaboratingwith the Transformation team to provide data and insights forongoing systeminitiatives.

MonthlyResponsibilities

Delivering accurate monthly management reporting and preparingfinancial reports and dashboards.

Supporting variance analysis between actual results budget andforecasts and preparing the Monthly Management Reportingdeck.

Assisting with monthlyforecasting by evaluating and updating models with newinputs.

Quarterlyand AnnualResponsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of quarterly reporting packagesincluding the Quarterly MIS Package for both public and privatemarkets.

Supporting the annualfinancial planning process managing the planning calendar engagingstakeholders and ensuring accurate and timely financial plansubmissions.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelor s degree in accounting orfinance.

Working towards CPA orCFA (considered an asset).

12years of accounting and reportingexperience.

12 years ofexperience working with financialsystems.

Demonstrated ability towork with large data sets.

Minimum intermediatelevel Excelskills.

Control mindset with theability to apply audit techniques to identify and preventerrors.

Strong communication andpresentation skills for effectively conveying information tostakeholders.

Collaborativemindset with a teamorientedattitude.

Proactive initiativeshowing ownership of deliverables and a candoattitude.

Experience with systemimplementation (nice to have).

Experience with Anaplan or Essbase (nice tohave).

Experience working withforecast and plan models (nice tohave).

Proficiency with Power BIor other data visualization tools (nice tohave).
