THE ROLE

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a MAINTENANCE TECH for a small manufacturing company located in HAMILTON's east end .

PERKS :

Great role with starting pay of $30-$32 / hr
Shift : 7 am- 3 : 30 pm (Monday to Friday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery, the building and the equipment

Using a Lathe to make parts

Perform welding, grinding, machining, and fabrication as required.

Determine necessary changes, adjustments, and modifications to obtain desired results from machinery, using OEM specifications, blueprints, sketches, and manuals.

Ensure plant and equipment is in good order by regular inspection and site audit.

Working collaboratively with the production team to resolve machine issues.

Welding MIG and TIG

Investigate cost effective solutions to plant and machine problems.

REQUIREMENTS :

5 years of maintenance experience working on machinery

Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, materials, tooling, presses, boilers, controls etc

Experience with overall building maintenance

Experience with boilers is nice to have

Trades accreditation is an asset, or equivalent work experience.

Drivers License needed
