MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business advisory firm in Canada. This opportunity is available in any location across British Columbia. It is a 16‑month term beginning approximately February 2026 and ending June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Utilize best‑in‑class talent acquisition methodologies, focusing on recruitment for all service lines, including tax
- Collaborate with HR leadership, business leaders, and the Talent Acquisition team to understand key business issues and develop appropriate recruitment strategies to proactively identify, source, and screen candidates to build talent pipelines
- Manage the overall candidate experience, ensuring it is professional, positive, and reflective of MNP values from hiring manager initiation through to verbal offer management
- Assess candidates’ technical qualifications, skills, and aptitudes against role requirements
- Guide and coach hiring leaders through the hiring process and interview techniques
- Cater to unique hiring leader needs, providing personalized and tailored service
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with candidates, networks, hiring managers, educational institutions, and other third parties
- Utilize recruitment technology to enhance success and speed of recruitment activities
- Maintain an active presence at in‑person events, on LinkedIn, and relevant social media platforms
- Report internal metrics, benchmark practices with industry standards, and make recommendations on market trends
Skills and Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of accounting, tax, and / or consulting recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environmentProfessional services industry experience, with successful recruits of senior‑level professionalsProven experience utilizing a wide range of recruitment sourcing tools and practices to identify prospective candidates (e.g., profile databases, advanced Boolean, collaboration forums, networking opportunities, and social media platforms) and writing detailed candidate presentation summariesSuccessful track record negotiating offers and selling company values and rewards to candidates
Demonstrated commitment to identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall client servicePassion for regularly keeping up‑to‑date on emerging trends, with the ability to comprehend and discuss their application in a professional services environmentWritten and verbal English language skills, with French considered an assetMyRewards@MNP
