Toromont Cat is looking for an experienced Bilingual Talent Acquisition Partner (English/French) to work closely with business leaders and lead strategic, full-cycle recruitment. This position will effectively source, evaluate and hire top talent into Toromont while ensuring an excellent customer and candidate experience. This critical position will ensure that strategic hiring initiatives are achieved.

Typical day responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, respectful, environmentally sound and healthy workplace behaviours at all times
• Effectively manage full-cycle recruiting for designated client groups
• Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, provide insights and implement effective talent acquisition strategies
• Use platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn and ATS (e.g., UKG/Ultipro) to build talent pipelines
• Represent the business and our brand at job fairs and networking events
• Maintain candidate progression through recruiting stages in ATS, and forecast reports in a timely and accurate manner for effective reporting
• Deliver a superior customer experience to all stakeholders
• Undertake other relevant assignments as required in support of talent acquisition

Must-haves

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a technical or industrial sector; preferably with experience recruiting for skilled trades
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related area of study
• Effective bilingual (English/French) communicator with the ability to manage and meet business leader expectations
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, influencing, and time management skills
• Metrics driven with demonstrated expertise using ATS’s and other related tools
• Ability to occasionally travel and represent Toromont at talent acquisition or related events
