Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Business Analyst will be the Company’s subject matter expert regarding Customer & Consumer performance and how it impacts various areas within the Company. They will provide analysis and insight to help stakeholders make informed strategic decisions that help the business achieve its growth and profitability objectives. Summ! Responsibilities :
Assist the Sales Team in developing rolling Gross & Net Sales forecasts by Customer, Product, and Location.Track all Customer trade programs and report on actual vs budgeted / forecasted expenses.Track andmaintain Customers’ Gross to Net pricing programs.Compile, analyze, and report our various sources of consumer sales data. IRI, Neilson, etc.Monitor and report on the freight costs incurred to service our customers’ orders and distribution effectiveness.Support Marketing with spend tracking and variance reporting.Assist in the compiling and reporting on customer performance & profitability.Revenue reconciliation between Sales reports and General Ledger. Any Sales related accruals – promotions & allowances, freight, etc.Support in developing internal / external sales presentations for company stakeholders.Provide supporting documentation for revenue and expenses related to Sales.Complete other ad hoc projects, duties, and assignments, as assigned.Summ! Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field.3+ years of experience with Sales Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting.Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Superior skills in working with numbers and data, familiarity with Power BI / Tableau like software a plus.A preference for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimum supervision while also delivering timely and detail-focused work outputs.Proven ability to combine intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills in order to provide a compelling story from the data.Excellent customer-focus and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerityThis full-time opportunity works at our 23011 Fraserwood Way location in Richmond and offers a competitive salary range (based on experience) between $80,000 - $90,000 in addition to an attractive benefits package including Company paid Extended Health & Dental, RRSP Matching, Health Spending Account and more.
