Position : Territory Sales representative

Locations : Ottawa and Gatineau (travelling required 3-4 days a week in Ottawa and Gatineau surroundings)

Salary : $65K to $70K

You'll provide unparalleled sales support to their esteemed distributors and spearhead market development efforts through strategic distribution channels.

With a guaranteed income range of $65K-$70K plus commissions that have the potential to soar to a target of $100K, this role offers both stability and significant earning potential.

You'll cover the vibrant Ottawa and Gatineau regions, including the bustling Montreal West Island area only once every two to three weeks, showcasing your sales prowess in thriving markets.

Recognizing the importance of mobility in this role, both a car allowance and a company car is provided, ensuring you have the tools necessary to excel in your territory.

Who we would love to meet :

  • Proficiently bilingual, both written and spoken, to communicate with clients outside of the Quebec region, required.
  • Proficient in digital software, CRM systems, and Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Minimum college diploma or a relevant trade certificate.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales development.
  • Experience in hardware or building products; ex : construction.
  • Experience in managing distributor relationships for day-to-day business operations.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Adhere to group strategy to achieve volume and margin goals for assigned customers.
  • Manage and grow sales territory in dual channel reality (mix of direct / distributors).
  • Drive business development by pulling customers to company distributors, using upselling strategies and new product introductions.
  • Acquire complete knowledge of the territory, spending 70% of time with distributors for product knowledge transfer.
  • Implement comprehensive annual sales plan, tracking progress and course correcting where needed.
  • Execute marketing programs, sells company vs competitors, and intervenes with marketing team for regional development.
