Job description Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant. A Principal Consultant plays a significant role in consulting where they manage relationships, oversee project work, and seek new business opportunities. They serve as a leader, driving key strategic decisions, delivering expert guidance to clients, and managing large project teams. They also foster and maintain important client relationships.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES Primary Point of Contact : Principal consultants act as the primary liaison between the client and the organization. They ensure that clients receive necessary resources and excellent customer service.Strategic Planning : Overseeing client teams within the firm, principal consultants develop strategic plans and execute them to completion. They participate in deliverables such as market analyses, communication plans, and marketing strategies.Business Improvement : Drawing on extensive experience and knowledge, principal consultants help clients improve their operations. This often involves recommendations for entering new markets, enhancing existing products, or implementing operational changes.Organizational Change : Principal consultants advise on organizational change messages and obtain management support. They organize internal teams and oversee deliverables, ensuring quality assurance.Business Development : To achieve new client growth, principal consultants actively participate in business development activities. They identify potential leads, create project proposals, and maintain strong business relationships.Industry-Specific Focus : Engage in externally focused activities, such as guiding SWOT analyses, competitive assessments, and product development.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Prinicpal Consultant or other managerial / consulting position.Experience in delivering projects in Oil and Gas Industry.Expertise for steering clients through complex challenges and providing tailored advice.Industry-specific knowledge with strategic thinking to drive positive outcomes for clients.Experience in support, upgrade, migration and enhancements projects.Experience in Digital Filed Operations, ArcGIS, and OSDU.Knowledge of Web Application development and Mobile Application development using Flutter.Knowledge of Cloud – Microsoft Azure and AWS is a plus.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
