Job description

Sr. Business Architect to transform the Student Information System (SIS) with our Higher Education client.

Location : Downtown Toronto - 50% Hybrid

Job Responsibilities :

  • Developing and updating a business architectural framework for highly complex and confidential university-wide IT systems in support of the future state Student Information Services, Systems and Processes to ensure effective modernization planning and strategic road mapping.

Must haves :

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Architect
  • Experience setting up and participating in an Architectural Review Board , creating business artifact blueprints and modelling to support strategy creation and alignment.
  • Working knowledge of the following frameworks : Business Architecture Body of Knowledge ( BIZBOK ), The Open Group Architecture Framework ( TOGAF )

    • Nice to haves :

  • Experience building and maintaining architectural repositories with ArchiMate and Archi modeling language and application strongly preferred.
  • Experience within Higher Education or Public Sector
