About this role

We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our Pre-fabrication Warehouse in Burnaby, BC.

What does the Prefabrication division do? They are responsible for the mass production of standardized assemblies for our larger construction sites in a controlled environment.

This strategy increases site safety, product quality, efficiency / time saving and gives us a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the Manager, Prefabrication and Warehouse with consistent and high quality administrative work, including the prefabrication workflow
  • Process work orders and inter-divisional invoicing
  • Review and verify time card data and work orders for Payroll submission
  • Data entry, track information, and manage files to ensure accurate up to date databases and spreadsheets

Your experience and skills

  • High School diploma
  • 4 years' experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with bookkeeping, and managing administrative tasks in a warehouse setting, inventory control or fleet coordination
  • Excellent computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience using JD Edwards or other ERP systems an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organized
  • Customer service focused, with good interpersonal and team working skills
  • Able to manage multiple, competing and changing priorities

Salary Range : $50,000-$60,000 per year , plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will depend on your experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
