Location : Greater Hamilton and Burlington Region Position : Community-Based Care Pay : $31.39 hourly Schedule : Depends on program Overnight : 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM Weekdays / Weekends : 4 to 12-hour shifts No On-Call Required What You’ll Do As a Shift Registered Practical Nurse, you’ll play a hands-on role in the community, visiting clients in schools and homes to deliver personalized, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include : Providing clinical care tailored to each client’s needs, including : Pediatric care (school & home) Palliative care Wound care IV therapy Chronic disease management and health teaching Supporting clients with tracheostomy and / or ventilator needs (experience is an asset) Managing diabetes care (experience is an asset) Prioritizing care time over travel time with efficient scheduling Why Bayshore? Qualifications Education & Certification Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RPN) Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are assets Experience 1–2 years of recent experience, preferably in a community setting Experience with pediatrics, diabetes management, g tubes, and trach / vent care is an asset Other Requirements Valid G2 or G Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle Willingness to travel within the Greater Hamilton / Burlington area in all weather conditions We are grateful for all applicants.
