Job descriptionAt heights Dusty Construction Various locations Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Instruct apprentices Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment Produce carvings from wood, stone and other materials Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems Combination of sitting, standing, walking Physically demanding Steel-toed safety boots Accurate Reliability Team player
