Product Manager:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Product Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Product Manager - Job Description:
We are looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager with a strategic vision, a team-first mindset, and demonstrated excellence in product management execution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful web and mobile app experiences, and requires presence at the Toronto, Canada site three times a week.
Product Manager - Responsibilities:
• Deeply understand our customers through follow-me-home research, usability studies, rapid experimentation, and emphatic customer empathy
• Analyze our market and available market opportunities, and establish and communicate a bold, coherent strategic vision
• Collaborate with design, development, analytics, and business partners — in Canada and globally — to craft simple and impactful web and mobile app experiences
• Prioritize and manage product development with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact experiences quickly
• Influence a matrix of stakeholders to deliver optimum customer benefit
• Be bold and entrepreneurial; foster a culture of innovation and impact
• Lead by example; plan and conduct experiments to validate solution ideas; challenge the status quo
Product Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in a Product Management role designing and delivering world-class solutions
• Passion for solving customer problems and delivering customer-driven products
• Outstanding analytical skills with demonstrated roadmaps and recommendations
• Ability to collaborate across functions, locations, and cultures
• Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap using Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving capabilities
Product Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Background or experience in Accounting (CPA or equivalent designation)
• Background or experience in Payroll
• Experience in accessible product design
• Experience in teamwork-focused environments
• Experience in leveraging AI for problem-solving
