The Opportunity :

Are you passionate about empowering others and driving success through effective training? As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in onboarding new hires, delivering sales refresher training, and enhancing our team's skills through targeted development initiatives.

You will evaluate sales agents' strengths and weaknesses, provide Sales Force platform training, and ensure our sales strategies are fully leveraged.

By maintaining and improving our Sales Training material, you will directly contribute to our team's growth and success.

This position reports to the Director, Sales.

What You’ll Do :

  • New Hire Onboarding & Sales Refresher Training
  • Conduct Onboarding sales sessions, evaluate strengths and weaknesses of existing sales agents to provide necessary motivation and refresher training for success
  • Review Sales Opportunities and Follow Ups in Sales Force and provide training as required.
  • Conduct Sales Force Platform training to ensure maximum utilization of platform.
  • Gather feedback for potential training to ensure aligns with SOV Sales Strategy and suggest improvements to existing sales training.
  • Maintain SOV Be Epic Academy Sales Training material.
  • Provide training to Sales Managers as required.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Review and assist with Call Quality Scoring to provide Performance Improvement training as required.
  • Provide training updates and reporting as required.
  • Other Duties as required.

What You’ll Need :

  • Previous experience in Retail Travel Sales
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and Sharepoint,
  • Knowledge of SmarterU training platform is an asset but not a requirement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a training role
  • High School Diploma
