Principal

Phoenix Education Foundation is a non-profit, Alberta-accredited independent K–9 school in Calgary, serving approximately 250 students through a BlendEd learning model that combines onsite and online instruction. We have been operating since 2004 and are recognized pioneers of BlendEd learning in Alberta.

We are seeking a  Principal  who is energized by personalized education, smaller school communities, and leadership that is relational, responsive, and grounded in real instructional practice.

This role works closely with the Head of School (Founder) and is primarily focused on  instructional leadership . The Principal supports teachers, guides program development, and helps steward a learning environment where creativity, adaptability, and strong relationships are central.

• This is an onsite role aligned with the school calendar and is ideal for an experienced educational leader who values autonomy, collaboration, and thoughtful practice over one-size-fits-all systems.
