Intermediate - Senior Water / Wastewater Process Engineer

Location : Mississauga, Ontario

Salary : $100,000-$140,000 (based on experience)

The Role : The Intermediate-Senior Water / Water Process Engineer will support and lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater projects for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver process designs for water, wastewater treatment systems and pumping stations.
• Coordinate with municipalities, stakeholders and, approval agencies for design review and input.
• Liaise with clients, municipalities and regulatory agencies to obtain all necessary approvals.
• Prepare and review process flow diagrams (PFD's) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), control philosophies, and process calculations.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, systems and engineering practices.
• Perform data collection, operational analysis and performance assessments to support process improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process evaluations and alternate analyses.
• Prepare contract drawings for construction including engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare engineering project proposals, change orders and client communication.
• Support project management activities including progress reporting and risk identification.
• Participate in client meetings, design workshops and technical presentations.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects in alignment with project scope, schedule and budget.
