Operations Manager - Amazon Canada

About the role: Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for engaging your team, optimizing fulfillment workflows, and meeting customer delivery expectations. You’ll also collaborate with departments like Safety, Engineering, HR, and Loss Prevention to develop plans that support business goals.

Amazon’s fulfillment workflow includes the First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile. While each building may vary, our mission to delight the customer remains constant. This position offers excellent growth opportunities, as Amazon continues launching new fulfillment sites each year.

Pay Range: Based on experience and qualifications

Requirements / Skills

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Comfortable lifting up to 49 lbs and standing/walking for up to 12 hours
• Ability to work in variable temperatures, around noise, and in multi-floor buildings
• Familiarity with performance metrics, process improvement, and lean techniques (preferred)
