Essential Responsibilities
- Design and develop cost-effective turnkey automated test solutions for production, service and PCBA supplies, based on the requirements set by organization.
- Ensure quality standards and principles are used throughout test development lifecycle.
- Interface with test equipment vendors to source and to purchase necessary equipment
- Collaborate with test fixture shops to design and to develop custom fixtures for test solutions.
- Integrate and debug test software with test hardware
- Validate and verify test systems and create reports
- Create test design documentation and user guides.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience with designing, integrating and troubleshooting automated test systems
Desired Characteristics
- Experience with : mechanical, electrical and industrial design, designing test hardware for high current circuit and safety circuit, test and measurement instrumentation, including test automation and PCI / PXI-based I / O and data acquisition hardware
- Hands on experience in pneumatic fixture's design and debugging
- Basic knowledge in designing and developing test software
- Self-motivated : ability to work individually as well as in a team environment and to share ideas.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem -solving skills
- Proactive approach to tasks - displays initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive and open approach to conflict resolution.
- Flexible and adaptable : Open to change and modification of tasks.
