As our Credit and Collections Specialist, you are responsible for all credit granting and management and collection of all the outstanding accounts receivable from customers. You are also responsible for other aspects of collections, to resolve customer billing problems and reduce the amount of accounts receivable.

Remuneration package includes base salary, commission, and performance bonus negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule
8‑Hour, day shift, Monday to FridayNo weekendsDaily activities will include :
Receiving and reviewing credit applications to ensure their completion and precisionSubmit to Equifax to obtain credit report and check credit referencesAssess customer credit report and references and grant appropriate credit and set termsInform customers / sales representatives about the outcomes of their credit applicationsAssist in negotiating payment plans where extended terms are requiredMonitor accounts to identify outstanding invoicesProcess invoice adjustments and refundsInvestigate historical data for each invoiceContact customers to ask about their overdue paymentsRespond to billing inquiries and resolve disputesTake actions to encourage timely invoice payments; ensuring invoices go the correct party to avoid delaysPrepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable via multiple forms of paymentResolve billing and customer credit issues internally and externallyRecommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write‑off as necessaryUpdate account status records and collection effortsMaintain accurate customer account dataReport on collection activity and accounts receivable statusProvide administration support when required, including but not limited to reception dutiesUnderstand multi‑faceted collection processes based on different business departments (e.g. parts sales, service agreements and long‑term contracts)Qualifications
