Our client is currently seeking Class 3 Garbage Truck Driver Manual Transmission Rear Load in Moncton, NB. This position is a ON-CALL CASUAL POSITION. Shifts start as early as 3 : 00am. This is a great opportunity to earn extra money and travel throughout Moncton and surrounding areas.

THE ROLE

The Rear Load Driver / Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Rear Load Garbage Truck

The candidate in this position will also be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the equipment

Maintain telephone or radio contact with appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions

Advise Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs

Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task

Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Class 3 driver’s license with clear driver abstract is required

Ability to drive manual transmission is required

CSA Approved Steel Toe 8” Work Boots are required

CSA Approved Reflective Vest is required

Safety Work Gloves is required

Must be able to lift over 50lbs on a frequent basis

Previous waste and or recycling experience preferred

20.00 PER HOUR PLUS 4% VACATION PAY
