Job description

Job Summary

This position maintains a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty machinery, on road tractors, and trailers from a variety of manufacturers. This position troubleshoots and maintains / repairs various systems including hydraulic brakes, electronics, and engines. This position performs other tasks as requested.

Job Type : Permanent Position / Full Time

Work Shift : Monday to Friday (5 : 00PM - 1 : 30AM)

Work Location : 770 Enterprise Cres Suite 200 VICTORIA, BC V8Z 6R4 Canada

Hourly Wage : $38.79

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Repairs all UPS vehicles.
  • Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner.
  • Performs preventative maintenance inspections
  • Repairs vehicles in accordance with UPS policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Red Seal license or apprentices acceptable
  • Possession of essential hand tools
  • Ability to lift-up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasionally outdoors.
