Overview
Insurity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will elicit, analyze, and document requirements and / or functional specifications, including regulatory and system impact. The role involves collaboration with customers and internal functional areas throughout development, testing, and installation, researching alternative approaches, and recommending efficient and cost-effective solutions. The Senior Business Analyst may coordinate small initiatives and contribute to improving quality and the overall analysis practice.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., wireframes, use cases, business rules).
- Perform and support testing efforts.
- Assist in the estimation of work.
- Participate in system design and configuration activities.
- Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience2+ years of P&C insurance experience including industry operations, policy administration regulation, and compliance4 years of business analysis experiencePrior experience with Sure Commercial Policy (formerly Quicksolver / Instec Policy) or Sure MGA (formerly ConceptOne) preferredFamiliarity with database design, object-oriented programming concepts, and the software development lifecycle preferredWhat’s In It For You
