What is the opportunity?

The Network Security Integration team is looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance professional who is experienced with IT security audits, security compliance checks, and responding to queries.

What will you do?

  • Maintain Network Security process models. Consult and support the strategic governance of Network Security controls.
  • Maintain mappings of the process models and supporting material to RBC Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and catalogue potential gaps in the implementation processes of Network Security teams.
  • Ensure that process and procedure documents created by operational teams and programs align with RBC Standards and Regulations.
  • Review the inventory of all current processes and procedures to ensure alignment with Standards and Regulations as changes in the operating environment evolve.
  • Review Network Security metrics collected from processes and procedures and make recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Gather and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Network Security.
  • Represent the Network Security team in interactions with internal and external risk and compliance teams.
  • Facilitate evidence gathering for all Network Security related Audit, Regulatory and third-party requests.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to review and understand new technology and service deployments.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have :

  • University graduate or equivalent experience
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management
  • Professional designations i.e., CRISC, CISSP
  • Experience with IT audit, with a risk management foundation
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, research and quantitative skills
  • Ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to priority changes

Nice-to-Have :

  • Experience using RSA Archer, ServiceNow or other Risk Management platforms
  • Ability to use a systemic approach to solving problems through attention to detail, analysis, and evaluation of alternative solutions.
