We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP / AR) Clerk to join our team. This role will help manage the financial transactions for both RCA and RCOA, ensuring the smooth operation of the schools financial processes. Key Responsibilities : Accounts Payable : Process and review invoices, ensuring all payments are accurate, timely, and authorized. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain vendor relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely payments. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to the Purchase Order (PO) system. Accounts Receivable : Process incoming payments, including tuition fees and donations, ensuring timely and accurate recording. Manage and track outstanding invoices, following up with parents, vendors, and partners as needed. Prepare and issue financial statements and invoices. Work closely with the finance team to reconcile receivables and ensure proper cash flow. Reconciliations : Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendor accounts, credit cards, general ledgers etc to ensure accurate financial records. Qualifications : Proven experience in an AP / AR role, preferably in an educational or nonprofit environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems. Experience with reconciliations, including bank, vendor, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, parents, and staff.
